United Assemblies of Christ International:

Covenant Bible College & Theological Seminary is the official educational institution of the United Assemblies of Christ International. It is our official duty to provide theological and biblical training to all Licensed and/or Ordained Ministers holding valid credentials with UACI. CBCTS also endorses men and women for ministerial credentials issued through the United Assemblies of Christ International.

The requirements for all applicants for Ministerial Credentials issued by the United Assemblies of Christ International are as follows:

Requirements:

    1. Must be a fully baptized member of a member Church or Ministry in fellowship with UACI
    2. Must register current credentials (if any) with the Office of the Credentials Bishop of UACI
    3. Must be baptized with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives utterance
    4. Must attend UACI Convocation
    5. Must attend the Annual Fellowship Conference
    6. Must attend Local and Regional Conferences
    7. Must complete the prescribed course of study prescribed before official UACI Ministerial Ordination may be conferred
    8. Must support the mission and ministry of UACI with monthly tithe portions
Responsibilities & Duties:
      1. May preach and teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ
      2. May conduct Sunday School programs
      3. May conduct Bible Studies and Evangelistic Revivals and Tent Meetings
      4. May administer the ordinance of Baptism
      5. May solemnize marriages (Ordained Ministers only)
      6. May perform all of the duties incumbent upon licensed/ordained Ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ

When a student is near to completion of his/her degree program and feels that he/she is led to answer the calling upon his/her life, an authorize CBCTS Student Advisor will assist the student in preparing for the required interviews and ministerial candidate application process. Upon successful evaluation and interview by authorized UACI representatives, the student will then receive notification of approval for Candidacy for Licensure/Ordination.

It is to be noted that credentials issued through UACI require the Candidate to adhere to the doctrines, policies and practices of UACI. For additional information, please visit the official web site of the United Assemblies of Christ International.
